A one-of-a-kind SEL program that starts where emotions actually live β in the body.
More than just play. We use body-based experiential learning to give lower elementary students the emotional tools they need to navigate their world with confidence.

Emotions in Motion is a creative, interactive program that helps children connect their bodies and feelings through science, movement, mindfulness, and play.
Grounded in Body-Mind Centered Education (BMCE) and mindfulness practices, the program teaches children how emotions show up in the body β and how movement can shift and balance those feelings.
Each child builds a personal toolbox for life β simple, powerful strategies for calm, focus, and self-regulation they can carry far beyond the classroom.
Children who understand their inner world can guide their own behavior, make thoughtful choices, and take ownership of how they show up β in class and in life.
Through visual body models, movement, and play, children develop a deep understanding of the relationship between their emotions and their bodies β learning to listen to what their body is telling them.
Practical mindfulness tools help children settle their nervous systems, find focus, and bounce back from challenges with greater ease.
"Emotional regulation isn't about suppressing feelings. It's about learning to listen to the signals our body sends us."
When we slow down and tune in, we are able to sense the signals our body sends us β and then name what we feel and know what to do before emotions get too big.
Children who understand their bodies become children who understand themselves. Each session invites students to first learn about their body (the science part), then practice deep body listening β through movement, connection, and creative expression β building a genuine superpower they can use anywhere, anytime.
Children gain tools to move from dysregulation back to calm β quickly and independently.
Regulated nervous systems are learning-ready. Better focus improves engagement in class.
When children feel emotionally safe, the whole class benefits β more kindness, more learning.
Most programs teach children to name emotions. We teach children to notice and balance them β in their bodies, in the moment, before words even arrive.
We explore anatomy using real medical skeleton models β making the invisible nervous system visible and concrete for young learners.
3D and hands-on anatomy models are significantly more effective for building understanding than 2D or text-based instruction.
β PMC / Clinical Anatomy, 2019Children physically experience the rise and shift of emotion β sensing nervous system signals before they have words for the feeling.
Interoceptive accuracy is directly linked to stronger emotional regulation in school-age children.
β PubMed / Journal of Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing, 2021After seeing and moving, children draw β locking-in both the emotional experience and the learning.
Drawing after learning is one of the most reliable ways to boost memory and deepen understanding in children.
β Wammes, Meade & Fernandes, 2016"The impact Roni made in such a short time was transformative. She didn't just teach concepts β she moved with the children, helping them embody calmness and focus."

Starting first grade is one of the biggest transitions a young child will face. New expectations, longer days, more complex social dynamics β and all of it happening while their brains and bodies are still developing.
Many children arrive without the emotional vocabulary or body awareness to navigate these challenges. They feel big feelings but lack the tools to understand, express, or regulate them.
Emotions in Motion meets children right where they are. Through movement, play, and guided reflection, the program gives 1st graders β and all lower elementary students β the social-emotional foundation they need to feel confident, connected, and ready to learn.
Roni's gentle, engaging approach made mindfulness accessible and fun. Students quickly began using breathing and body-awareness tools on their own, becoming more centered, confident, and connected.
The impact Roni made in such a short time was transformative. She didn't just teach concepts β she moved with the children, helping them embody calmness and focus. I recommend her with the highest enthusiasm.
Thank you so much for coming in and sharing such a wonderful lesson on feelings, emotions, and ways our bodies can help us regulate. I especially appreciated how you helped the students become more aware of their feelings and recognize where they experience them in their bodies. It was incredibly impactful β truly valuable for the students.
Roni Nahon is an educator and movement specialist with over 20 years of experience working with young children in different school settings. Her approach is warm, embodied, and deeply grounded in both the science of child development and the power of movement.
She holds a B.Ed. in Physical Education (cum laude), with a major in special education and in early childhood motor development. During her career, she also worked as a classroom teacher before dedicating herself fully to this integrative, body-mind work.
Her experience in different school settings led her to build a program that sees the needs of teachers and kids in the classroom. With her knowledge and experience, she built what was missing to make a meaningful change in kids' and teachers' lives.
Roni brings a rare combination of academic rigor, hands-on experience, and genuine heart to every session β creating spaces where children feel safe to feel, move, and grow.

Emotions in Motion helps children grow strong in body regulation, balanced in emotions, and kind in heart.
